H&R® Lighter weight, increased travel

The H&R I.D. Race Spring Program is designed for competition use across road racing, time attack, autocross, and custom motorsport applications. Produced to strict tolerances, each spring is built to deliver consistent rates, reduced weight, and exceptional durability under extreme track conditions. H&R offers an extensive range of inside diameters, free lengths, and spring rates, along with complementary tender and helper springs to complete and fine-tune your suspension setup. Every H&R spring is manufactured using advanced production and quality control processes. These springs are engineered to maintain performance and reliability throughout the rigors of competition. Product Lines

2.50” I.D. Race Springs

H&R 2.50” I.D. Race Springs are made with extremely high tensile strength wire alloy which allows the use of a thinner wire thickness. Manufactured using advanced materials and precision technology in Germany, H&R 2.50” I.D. Race Springs are crafted from special lightweight (hf) 54SiCr6 spring steel. For any given spring rate, they are on average 15% lighter and have 10% more travel than competitors’ springs. Main springs range from 6” to 16” in length and are available in a wide selection of spring rates.

 

TENDER SPRINGS

H&R 2.50” I.D. Tender Springs are made of trapezoidal (flat rather than round) spring wire and have a low block height for maximum travel. These springs are designed for demanding motorsport environments, and like all H&R springs, have been pre-blocked at the factory so they will never set or sag.

2.00" I.D. Race Springs

H&R 2.0” I.D. Race Springs are made with extremely high tensile strength wire alloy which allows the use of a thinner wire thickness. Manufactured using advanced materials and precision technology in Germany, H&R 2.0” I.D. Race Springs are crafted from special lightweight (hf) 54SiCr6 spring steel. For any given spring rate, they are on average 15% lighter and have 10% more travel than competitors’ springs. 2.0” Race Springs are available in 4” and 5” lengths and are available in a wide selection of spring rates.

60mm I.D. Race Springs

The H&R 60mm I.D. Race Spring line is crafted from special lightweight (hf) 54SiCr6 spring steel and is the most comprehensive 60mm I.D. Race Program in the U.S. If you own a Porsche GT3 or another Euro spec car, our range of 60mm I.D. Race Springs has you covered. With hundreds of main springs and tender springs available, H&R has the lengths and rates necessary for optimal tuning and setup.

 

The H&R complete line of 60mm main and tender springs includes main springs ranging from 100mm to 300mm (25.4mm = 1 inch) in length and 30 N to 700 N (N/mm x 5.709 = pounds/inch) spring rates. Tender springs vary in length from 40mm to 130mm, with many spring rates available.

 

TENDER SPRINGS

H&R 60mm I.D. Tender Springs are made of trapezoidal (flat rather than round) spring wire for a low block height and maximum travel. These springs are designed for demanding motorsport environments, and, like all H&R springs, have been pre-blocked at the factory so they will never set or sag. Also available are H&R inside and outside locating spring retainers.

36mm I.D. Race Springs

H&R 36mm I.D. Race Springs are crafted from special lightweight (hf) 54SiCr6 spring steel with multiple lengths and rates for optimal tuning and setup.

 

The H&R Motorsport line of 36mm main and tender springs includes main springs ranging from 2.76” to 5.12” in length, and 72 lbs/inch to 686 lbs/inch spring rates. Tender Springs are available for optimal fine tuning and performance.
